Tiger Lily's Story...
Tiger Lily is a beautiful, snugly, loving and sweet, nine-year-old, 13-pound, front-declawed, plush orange tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.

Tiger Lily enjoys the company of other cats, dogs and people. She is well-behaved in the home and uses her litter box like a good girl.

Tiger Lily loves to bat her toys around the room and chase a feather wand. She also enjoys chasing a laser beam and then jumping in your lap for a snuggle or grooming session. She loves to be brushed and loved.

Tiger Lily is devoted to her people and greets them at the door. She’s not one to hide. She’s talkative and fun.

Tiger Lily is spayed, virus-tested, micro-chipped and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She has been diagnosed with IBD, so she eats prescription canned food twice a day with fiber added which suits her beautifully. Her adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets. To meet and possibly adopt Tiger Lily please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. She is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger Lily, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
