My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Heather. She is a lovely purebred Doberman Pinscher female. Pretty Heather currently weighs about 73 lbs and is only 1 year old. Heather enjoys her squeaky toys and loves to play fetch. She will bring the ball back and drop it on return! She also plays some tug of war and a race me chase me game with her sister, Shauna; these two do very well together.

When she is not interacting with her person in a game of fetch, Heather has decided that she is most interested in playing with her sister, Shauna. Thus, we have decided to repost these two female Dobies as a bonded pair, since they have been together sine birth. Thus, we would like to try to find them a home where they could be adopted together.

We are not certain how Heather and Shauns would do in a home with cats. A meet and greet would tell us how she might do with your current pets.

As you can see, Heather is a lovely black and tan female dobie with a docked tail and natural ears. She is crate trained and is also doing very well on her house manners. She walks fairly well on a leash and rides well in the car too. Heather is spayed, current on vaccinations, and is also microchipped. This lovely young lady is looking for a loving home.

If you are interested in adopting Heather, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org and check out our adoption process and complete an adoption application. You will see from our adoption process that we will bring both Shauna and Heather to your home for a meet and greet if they appear to be a good fit for your home. If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail us at rescue@friendsofcanines.org.

The adoption fee for Heather is $225. Thank you for considering one of our foster pets.
