Reggie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reggie's Story...
Reggie spent FIVE months in a local shelter and we only found out about him because a citizen saw him and let us know he needed help. He is heartworm positive, emaciated, and needs a lot of TLC. He is so grateful to be out of the shelter and with a loving foster family now. He is very much a velcro dog and wants to be near his family at all times. He is good with dogs, cats, and children of all ages. He is house trained and does fine loose in his foster home when left alone. Reggie just wants a loving retirement home where he can spend his days lounging and relaxing. Email adopt@rvaboxers.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reggie, a Richmond Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
