Skipper's foster reports : after a week with us Skipper is really settling in, he is very affectionate with people, crate and house trained and walks well on a leash....he becomes very excited when he sees other dogs but after introductions is very social and loves to play !
Due to his high energy he is best suited for children over about 10 years old......while he is very friendly smaller children may get knocked over or bumped by his excited greetings .
Skipper is very prey driven so cats, squirrels and any other small animals are of high interest to him. If allowed he would chase with a fervor.
Border Collie and Lab are his predominate breeds but with his muscular size he also appears to have some sort of bully breed too so will not be adopted to any home where any type pf bully breed is not allowed.
