It’s easy to see why you landed on Lucy’s profile page. Now, hold your heart one last time, give it a kiss it goodbye, and prepare yourself, because she is even more stunning in person!
Lucy’s pure white puppy fur is growing into a thick, luscious, and oh so heavenly soft coat that you won’t want to stop touching. She loves to be shown affection by her human companions, especially the kiddos, so petting, brushing, hugging, rubbing, and cuddling this fluffy ball of silk will your number one priority!
She has the true Pyr personality. If there is an opportunity to wander, she’ll take it. If you earn her trust, she’ll accept you and your family as her own. If you are mindful of her independence, she will devote her entire life to you.
Lucy’s charisma is captivating and challenging, that’s just how it goes with Pyr personalities! If you have ever been loved by a Pyr, then right now, you are nodding your head and recalling all of those funny and adoring moments. And… you are also, quite likely, the perfect human companion for Lucy!
Do you think you are “the one” for Lucy? If so, these thoughts are running through your mind right now:  You want to devote the time and patience required to earn Lucy’s unconditional love and protection. You are also humble and have a sense of humor with your stubborn Pyr’s preferences, like napping outside in the shade for hours on end, and “talking” when excited. You know “the look” she will give you the moment she has decided to trust you with her life.

All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing.

Adoption Fee: $300
Lucy is available for local adoption in Texas only.

There are many things you can do to help:
1. Adopt! If this Gentle Giant looks like the one for you, fill out an adoption application today!
2. Foster! This is a temporary commitment that gives all dogs in need the assured time to find the loving home they deserve. Your benevolent decision to foster unquestionably determines whether a loving dog gets to live or die.
3. Donate! Safeguarding these Gentle Giants result in expenses that are in upwards $8/day. If veterinary care is needed, the costs exponentiate to $1,000+ for a single dog. Every penny you donate makes an impact when it comes to vet bills! If you were to make a one-time donation of just $25, you would be adding 3 more valuable days to the life of every rescued dog and provide the chance to find the home they have been waiting for their entire life.

As always, all donations are gratefully accepted.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or need further information, please contact GPRS at or fill out our SHORT application form.

Every dog adopted thru the GPRS program is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered and on heartworm preventative.
