Facts about Almond
Breed: Miniature Mix
up to date with shots and good with kids.
I am up to date with shots and good with kids.
Almond is a RRR rescue mare. She was rescued with a couple dozen other miniatures and ponies in Jackson TN. We traveled to Jackson to help and she is one of six we brought back. Out of all the ones we brought she is probably the healthiest and is very nicely built. She is a beautiful paint with one blue eye and one brown. She leads and trailers great and seems sweet. Like the other mares she is probably pregnant. She is available to adopt and is up to date on her shots and coggins.
About East Tennessee Miniature Horse and Donkey Rescue
We are a 501c3 rescue that is dedicated to helping miniature horses, donkeys and mules to help prevent them from going to auction. Our goal is to help people understand how to care for minis and know that we are here to help. Donations are used to feed, shelter, provide medical care, transport, farrier costs and site visits. We do not receive any grants so we rely on your help. Together we can do big things for these little equines.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Located on a small farm in Loudon TN, we request you call a head in order to set a meet and greet time with our minis. We want you to come and see what this little equines are all about and help spread the word about miniatures in need. We do go to local events through out the year and you can keep up with us by checking our website and looking at our event page.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoptions require references, a veterinary contact that will be caring for your new mini, and a site visit. You must be 18 years or older and must be adoption for yourself or immediate family. On our site visits we are looking for safe fencing, a simple shelter, and access to fresh water and limited pasture. Our adoption fee is 200 with a discount for multiple animals adopted and those with special needs.
