Patches's Story...
Patches is a 5 month old black and white male kitten. He enjoys playing with his foster brother and sister. He loves chasing after the laser pointer and sleeping in the sun at the top of his cat tree. Patches is a ball full of cuddles and a purring machine. He also does well with the dog in his foster home.

Patches does have tiny eyes, a genetic characteristic of his mother. This does not impede his ability to see and function like a normal cat.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair. Brief screening questionaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
