RAVEN's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

RAVEN's Story...
RAVEN is a chow/golden retriever mix about 7 years old. She is gentle and sweet. She walks nicely on a leash without pulling. We are listing her as special needs because she had a seizure while in our care. Now she is on inexpensive medication that controls her seizures. RAVEN was living with several other dogs and cats. Her mother is BLONDIE, also at our shelter. All that she needs now is a quiet home and some time for her new coat to grow back in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RAVEN, a Indiana Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever for sale in Indiana, or seeking a Chow Chow/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Indiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
