Gabrielle's Story...
Name: Gabrielle
Breed: Rex/English Spot mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Gabrielle is a fluffy, sweetheart of a rabbit who likes hay, chew toys, and exploring the world. She doesn't seem to mind being held though is a tad nervous at first but settles nicely. She likes people and is curious about other pets. Gabrielle was a stray brought in to a local impound. She seemed to have had a home before as she is very socialized, healthy, and well-fed though was crawling with fleas. She is now flea-free, healthy, and will be spayed mid-October and will be ready to go to her forever home after that. Gabrielle is litterbox trained. She is good with older kids who know to be respectful and understand she is not a toy. Please do your research about rabbit care before considering adopting a rabbit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabrielle, a Minneapolis Rex was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rex for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Rex from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rex breeders who help with Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
