Charlotte is a sweet, pretty lady who loves people (especially men). She has been a great office companion in her foster home. She would do best in a quiet home with a single adult or couple who like to have a companion cat. Charlotte has mild special needs in that she can get an ulcer in her mouth which is believed to be caused by stress. Should this occur, a simple steroid shot is the treatment. This does not appear to impact her eating, or temperament, and, if caused by stress, the hope is that once in a forever home, she won't have this occur.
She is very easy to care for- she uses her litterbox faithfully (and is very clean), her coat is silky soft and doesn't mat.
She could do well with older children.
If you'd like to meet Charlotte, please complete an application for her! We'd love to meet you!
Please note that we do NOT adopt outside Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana. Please check Petfinder for cats closer to your location. We require all potential adopters to be approved prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We are not a shelter and all cats are fostered in private homes
