Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet young boy is Houser. Houser is a mix of Terrier and Heeler. He currently weighs about 28 pounds and he is only 9 months old.
Houser is true to his breed mix, he is energetic, protective, brave, loyal and smart. He notices just about everything and he is very focused. Houser is not the type of dog to be content laying around the living room all day and only getting a 15 minute walk at night. His forever home should have an experienced owner who will provide mental challenges and appropriate exercise. Houser is intelligent and a quick learner. He would excel at agility or fly ball.
Houser is still a puppy and needs appropriate things to chew on. He is used to being kenneled when no one is home. He will sleep in a crate at night, but would prefer to be on the bed with his people. For a young dog, Houser is beautifully housetrained and has not had any accidents. With proper introductions Houser does well with most dogs and also with cats. He would love to have another playful dog to have fun with, but he also respects older dogs who do not want to play.
Houser would love to have a large fenced yard to run and play in. He has a favorite toy that he will fetch and bring back to you over and over. He just has to squeak it several times in between. Houser will be at your feet most of the day. He is a loyal best friend.
Houser is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He is all ready to find his perfect home.
