Munchie in Houston's Story...
Hi everyone! My name is Munchie and I lived under a dumpster for 2 months. I was a very scared and unhappy JRT boy!!! A nice lady got me out and took me home. I was covered in ticks and fleas. Now I am comfortable and healthy. I am about 2 years old and weigh 18 pounds. My vet work is all done. If you are interested in me please fill out the online application at www.russellrescue.com. Adoption fee is $200. Munchie needs a home with no kids, no cats and no other male dogs. Adopter must be willing to drive to the Houston area to get Munchie. Contact: jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchie in Houston, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
