Max is a special little guy looking for a special kind of home.
Max has had a tough life living with an unstable owner. He doesn't know what security feels like and acts out like you would expect an insecure dog to act. He isn't great with new people and in new situations but given a few days, you will find under that gruff exterior a heart of gold just longing to feel safe. He is silly and playful and very loving once you break through. He is good with other dogs and even good with cats. He just needs a patient, loving, forgiving, and most importantly consistent and stable new friend.
If you are willing to be greeted with a snarl and able to wait a few days for your reward and gratification...Max might be your new best friend for life.
All animals adopted from ACT are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped prior to adoption. Every pet adoption comes with a free health exam in the first two weeks, provided by Pet Medical Center, Fresno, http://petmedcenterfresno.com/
