***Cuddly, Sweet, Senior***

Hello! I may be the gentlest, most affectionate kitty you will ever meet. You see, I am an elderly lady and not only have had years of practice in cuddling but am at an age where I expect and need all the affection I can get.

My preference is for laps, but if you are busy I am also content to hang out in a nearby comfy spot, so long as it's as close to you as possible. I'll chirp at you when you come to see me, and then purr so loud that you will hear it across the room. I enjoy a sunny window and a heated bed for my old bones. To top all of these good things, I'm a Manx! All I have for a tail is a wisp of fluff.

I also have specific tastes in food. Fortunately, it is inexpensive. CAT's hospital staff has taken care of my health issues and I'm living at the shelter Sunday-Tuesday and then with a foster family until I find that special someone. Is it you? I really want to be your one and only. Other cats and dogs are not for me. What I'd prefer is a calm and quiet home, an apartment will be fine too. I don't require much space, but I do demand a warm lap and a little chin scratching. If you can provide that and understand that I'm no longer a youngster, I will give you unlimited purrs, affection, and love that you will never forget.

Please contact my foster family for a meet and greet today! Call Anne and Kerry at 503-582-9201 or email them at You can also contact the shelter to see me when I am there Sunday-Tuesday. Thanks to special grant funding, my adoption fee is FREE!

About Cat Adoption Team

About Our Shelter...

The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving, lifetime placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with local county shelters, rescue groups and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. CAT saves close to 3,000 lives per year and relies heavily on the support of private donations and generous volunteers. Thank you for visiting our site and helping us save lives!

The Cat Adoption Team requires all potential adoptive families to meet with a trained adoption counselor before adopting a cat. Families must complete an application and sign a contract, which outlines our organization's adoption guidelines. Individuals who are interested in adopting a cat or kitten are welcome to call our facility to discuss these guidelines before visiting our adoption center.

In order to give our kittens a strong, healthy start in life, and to minimize behavior problems by assuring that they are fully weaned and litter box trained, we do not adopt out any kitten until they are at least 8-10 weeks old. Kittens age 6 weeks and older may be available for pre-adoption. Please visit our website for details.
