Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At 10 years old, little Jax finds himself in the position of needing a fresh start in life. He was surrendered to our Newark facility when his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. Jax was quickly adopted but quickly returned because he and the other dog did not see eye to eye. Jax has come to us to find a happy new home and we just love this little guy. We've discovered that in fact Jax does not care for other dogs, so he will need to be the only one in the home. He does, however, simply adore people and can't get enough attention. Don't ever call Jax "old" because this little guy can run circles around the best of them! He's got lots of spunk and energy, and all Jax wants to do is have some fun and spend some time with someone that treats him with kindness. Jax is outgoing and friendly and within minutes of knowing him, he'll flop on his back so you can scratch his belly. He's happy to play with toys from time to time and he's well behaved and polite with treats and walking on a leash. Jax is eager to get on with his life in the loving, caring home that he deserves.
