Jenny Emma's Story...
I Am SO Sweet!
Jenny Emma, according to a vet, was born about February 15, 2016. However, we are leaning in the direction of a couple/few months older. We are guessing that her ultimate weight may range in the 80-90 lbs. She's rather tall, and really wiggly. She has your typical Lab behavior, just goofy, happy, and loves everyone and everything. We feel she would do best in a home with another dog. She doesn't exactly pull on leash, but she is very awkward and needs some work knowing which direction to go in. LOL! Walking with another dog would probably help with this behavior. There is absolutely no aggression, just wonderful with everyone, but is on the shy side at first. We are so thankful to Beverly Wojtaszczyk for her dedication of arranging transports out of Kentucky, a few dogs at a time, and one hour at a time. This means that each driver goes one hour away and meets the next driver who goes one hour all the way from Kentucky to New York. That is a lot of coordinating!! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
