As sweet as her name implies, Honey is a darling little girl who’s new to this world and is constantly exploring! She’s a Maltese/Yorkie cross (with a bit of American Husky in her too) who is only about 13-weeks-old. Being that she’s a puppy, she currently weighs between two and three pounds. Honey’s great with other dogs and with kids, but we’re not yet sure how she is with cats and kittens.

At such a young age, everything is still a learning process for Honey. She hasn’t shown any issues with barking, physical limitations, or food aggression. However, as is true with all puppies, she does like to chew on things so she’ll need constant gentle redirection until she moves on from this habit. Honey already knows her name when you call her and she is learning how to walk on a leash. Her basic commands are a work-in-progress, so she’ll need a family that is willing to continue working with her on a daily basis until she’s got them mastered.

Honey loves to be with her people but also with other dogs to cuddle up to. Very little makes Honey upset, and if she had a lifetime supply of stuffies, toys, belly rubs, and cuddles, she’d be a very happy girl indeed! A family that is fairly active and willing to include her in their activities would be perfect for her.
