Annie COURTESY POST's Story...
Orphan Annie, Annie Get Your Gun, Annie Oakley...and then there is this Annie.

This beauty came all the way from the wild west side of this great country. Annie came to a family as a gift after they lost their beloved family dog. Cute as ever, smart as a whip and loyal as any dog can be, Annie spent her 7 years with a family who adored her.
Then life stepped in and things began to change.
Once a family that now was broken. A mom, 2 young boys and Annie trying to keep life from making more changes for them.
Annie doesn't mind when everyone is away at work and school during the day. But it's at night when Annie wants her family around her. Being true to being a pack animal, Annie wants to be relaxed within the family pack. Sometimes when things go bump in the night, when someone thoughtlessly sets off a fire cracker, these things are when Annie needs her family the most.

Annie knows a lot of her basic commands. She knows stay, come, sit, roll over, leave it and several more. She even walks like a champion on a leash.

Annie is a gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer, 7 years old, 52 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, spayed and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie COURTESY POST, a Chesterfield German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Chesterfield, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Chesterfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chesterfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chesterfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chesterfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
