This is Rosie.  Rosie is a beautiful dilute torti.   She was found as a stray in the bitter cold and is currently enjoying life with 4 children, 2 dogs and 2 more cat friends.  With a slow introduction she has done well with the other resident cats as well as our dogs.  She enjoys a good long sit on a warm lap and lying on her cat tree.  She is social and likes to be around her people, and is not one to hide.  She is very interested in being outdoors and it would be great if she found a home with someone willing to let her be an indoor/supervised outdoor cat.  She would be very happy to sit outside in an enclosure or stroll around in a fenced yard.    Based on her time here with us we feel she would do best in a quiet home with another laid back cat or as the only cat.  She will do great with older (6 and up), respectful children and will be ok with dogs as long as they are not prone to chase or get too curious.

Our vet estimates her to be between 5 -7 years old.  Rosie is up to date on her shots, spayed and has a microchip.  She is fully litter box trained.  She is not declawed and does great using her cat tree/scratching post.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
