Cookie bell is 27 PDS, she had a rough beginning , she is 2.5 yrs old. Someone left her in their backyard, fed her when they felt like it, we got her and she was 12 pds, pregnant. Scared. She had bed bugs from an old mattress left out there. She was so skinny she could barely walk. We had to bathe her 5 times to get all of the dirt embedded off of her. And had to be so gentle so we didn't break her bones she had , tape , round, hook & heart worms. We fattened her up in 3 weeks slowly. Wormed her, but nothing else because she was soon to be a mommy. She was too far along to abort the puppies without hurting her. After the puppies were weaned, she went to a foster, where she recovered, gained a little more weight, wormed again, all shots, spayed. 3 months later she was treated for Heartworms and did great. She is scared of thunder storms, she was given valerian root to help with anxiety. She snuggled up to her foster mom and slept and stayed calm. She was extremely food aggressive, and she has overcome this. She wouldn't be a good choice for children. A couple or a single person would be great for her. Her foster mom had hand surgery, and hand all wrapped up, they were grilling out side, a rib dropped on the ground and the foster mom just walked up and reached down to take rib from her mouth and she bit her. Which is a No No in the first place. She only drew blood because she had stitches in her hand still. Cookie is a sweet cuddly girl. She likes some dogs and not others. She is utd on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, utd on heartworm and flea prevention. She is house trained...Adoption fee is $300.00

Our Adoption Process...

We have adoption fees and a contract. We have mostly all small breeds, and because most small dogs can get hurt easily and they don't do well with small children, we adopt to more semi-retired, retired, and seniors!!

;please note that we are completely foster based, and we will answer all emails. If you do not get a return email please call. Some say they emailed and we didn't receive the email.
We do not have a shelter, all dogs are at private fosters and volunteers homes..
We take in surrenders, as well as pull from various shelters throughout florida.and get many different breeds weekly. Including lots of purebred. All dogs will have all shots, microchipped, be put on grainfree food . spayed & neutered. We some times let new owners take them for spays and neuters and we make appt and pay for this, then they can bond with their new mom & dads.

Our adoption fees are based on what we have into the dogs and averaged. We take in senior dogs that need more care then some younger ones. When averaged out we have about $625.00 into each dog.
We have dogs we choose not to give up on. That require surgeries. Some extensive. Our fees are used to save other dogs.

Some puppies may have a different adoption fees depending on breed, medical, more or less, it depends on what we have to put into the mom and litter. As well.
$400.00 and up for puppies, under contract must be spayed & neutered.
$350.00 for 1 yr old - 4 yr olds
$300.00 for 5 to 7 yr olds
******* senior dogs with our seniors to seniors program. The rules for this is 8 plus year old dogs, to seniors as companionship.some dogs may be younger then 8, but they may need to be only pet or dog ******* We ask for some kind of monetary donation.

We love having semi retired, retired, seniors. Companion dogs for seniors. If we have 8 yr old dogs and up we work with seniors and place dogs with them at a donation based fee, you can make a donation to help, not set fees., and will help take dogs to groomer, vets as well.if local. At the new owners cost.

The vet we use is VCA village animal hospital , in palm bay florida. We adopt to people all over. But not to ones that have smaller children when it comes to our teacup and toys dogs.if you have questions please call or text 321-848-8275. Feel free to email as well, list phone number when emailing.
