Rod is a boy with tons of potential. When you first meet him he's a little shy but if you'd had the life he had, you would be, too. Once he's comfortable with you, this boy gives you all his love.
Rod is about a 1 year old Hound mix, weighing around 40 pounds. He is still a pup and has some puppy mannerisms but is really just looking for someone to show him the way. He also gets along with other dogs but he is very playful so as long as that playfulness doesn't intimidate a dog, he'd be a great companion!
Rod is generally not a barker (unlike most hounds) and he is doing great on his leash training - like most hounds, he tends to walk with his nose to the ground, looking for good-smelling things!
Rod would love to be part of an active home - give him a job to do & he won't let you down! He likes to keep busy.
Rod has been neutered and microchipped and he is up to date on his shots. If you're interested in meeting Rod go to EHRDOGS.ORG and submit an application. Don't forget to ask for ROD STEELE RM!!!
