Sonny is about 2yo and weighs about 8lbs. He is a sweet, devoted cuddler with his foster mom but does need time to warm up to new people. We would strongly suggest an all adult home for this little guy. Sonny is a little mush ball and loves to sleep right up next to his foster mom under the blankets, but he can be wary of meeting strange people (men more so than women) and must be introduced slowly preferably when he's on the ground to let him check out new people on his own. He sometimes gets nervous when new people reach in to pet him or with new house guests and may growl at them at first, or snap. This can quickly be solved with his favorite treats! Once he gets to know people, he remembers them the next time they visit and all is well! With Sonny, it's important to be gentle and patient, and his confidence will soar.
Sonny loves to play with his foster sibling dogs and he gets along with cats too! He likes to chew on bones and has just gotten the hang of going for walks on a leash. He recently had his first experience running on a beach! He is exceptionally adorable and uses his paws like little hands to hold his toys!
Sonny is up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. He will need a bit more training to perfect his housebreaking.
