Hi! I'm Holly! I am a 22 month old (est.) pit-boxer mix and I wandered into the yard of some nice people while they were out cutting grass about 6 months ago. I was skinny and had two collars with two tethers that had been chewed through. I have put on some needed weight (I really like to eat!) and am up to about 50 lbs. When these nice people took me in, I had little to no socialization and did not know how to play. I am so much better now, and I can now hang out calmly with their 3 year old son. I love to chew on antlers and toys and am very food motivated. I have improved in waiting for my food, jumping (and boundaries in general), and letting people in and out of the door without rushing through. I still have to learn a lot, and I want to learn! I love people, but I don't understand cats and can be too rough (but I have not been aggressive). I love to run and play with other dogs (and have shown no aggression towards my foster family's cranky older dog). I do best with exercise, so if you are a daily walker or runner and want to invest in a sweet, sweet baby who had a rough foundation, I am your girl!!

To meet Holly please contact Kim Brown at keb914@comcast.net or 615-943-6797.
P.S. I am up to date on all my shots and am spayed.

About East C.A.N. (Community Action Network)

About Our Rescue Group...

East Nashville has always had an over abundance of animals roaming our streets. In an attempt to help the animals with as much speed and efficiency as possible a neighborhood effort was organized. Our mission is to make a positive and immediate difference for animals and people in East Nashville by facilitating neighbors helping neighbors.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have fund raisers and adoption events through out the year, typically in spring, summer and fall. Signing up on our mailing list (via our website) will get you invites to all of our events.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a required application on our website that includes personal and vet references. We do pre-adoption home visits and periodic follow up visits post adoption. There is a $120 rehoming fee for each animal if they are microchipped or $100 if they are not.
