Meet Ryder aka Easy Ryder! That pretty much sums up this handsome fella. He is housebroken, but since this is all new to him he should be kept on a schedule. He is extra snugly and loves people of all ages. Ryder does not know a stranger. He is submissive and polite with other dogs. He will have pops of playfulness but it is not his goal in life!
Ryder will make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a nice mellow, walk around the block - he is a social kind of guy. He will also make a good family dog and absolutely adores children. However he is not the throw-the-ball-run-around kind of dog.
Ryder had his ticket to freedom but a sad turn of events delayed his journey for six months so he could be treated for Heartworm. We committed to him and waited for his super successful treatment to be complete, and it was worth every minute.
Slow Ryder just needs a family of his very own to continue that commitment for the rest of his life. He is an amazing and deserving dog that will be eternally grateful with the promise of super snuggles to that family that makes him theirs.
Our dogs are all fostered in private homes, and all adopters must go through our screening process before being put in contact with the foster family. By responding to our email inquiries quickly, you can help speed up the approval process!
