Little Penny is a playful, silly, curious, and affectionate kitten. She loves to be held and might even take a nap in your arms! She came to RMFR with her brother who was quickly adopted. Now it's Penny's turn! She gets along well with everyone, two-legged and four (although some of our older residents aren't much for her antics!). Penny has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). What does this mean for you? Well, all she needs is a little help maintaining her immune system through a healthy diet, a calm environment, and vet visits if she seems to be getting sick. As FeLV can be transmitted to other cats (but not humans or dogs), Penny should be an only cat or live with other FeLV positive cats.
