MARCO's Story...
MARCO is a 6 month old, black/orange/cream mix medium hair kitty who came to the rescue from Nogales Mexico. We work closely with a rescue there who saves a ton of animals all the time and provides them shelter and food. He health was failing at the rescue as he was very picky with food and skin and bones. They begged us to take him a couple months ago during their monthly transport to the US where SOS and other rescues help her. He has been in foster for a couple of months and kept a very close eye on while we tried to get weight on him. He is doing fantastic and is now ready to be adopted and find his forever home.

Male torties are extremely rare! Most torties are usually female!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARCO, a Glendale Somali kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Somali for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Somali kitten from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Somali breeders who help with Somali rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
