My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl was dumped at our vets office by her owners. She was pregnant and having difficulties with her labor. The vet did a c section and sadly all three puppies had died. She is just the sweetest little girl and is only 4 lbs and about 10 months old. She loves to be cuddled and held, she looks like a chi/terrier mix,she gets along well with the other dogs and is doing pretty well on the house training. As she is so tiny we would require a family with no children under 12 years of age

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
