I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Nita's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nita's Story...
This little ten month old girl weighs around 7-8 pounds. She is very, very sweet and wants to be with people all of the time. She's very vocal and talks to you like a Husky, looking at you and "roo-roo"ing, and she even howls softly when she's alone! If you talk back to her, you can have a two way conversation! Totally fun and adorable, but obviously wouldn't work well in an apartment where neighbors are on the other side of the wall! =)

She gets along well with other dogs and cats, but doesn't play. She might play with them in time, but she mostly wants to be with her person.

Nita is in a foster home getting pre-spoiled. She is also working on housetraining with a doggie door (she's doing great!).

For an application, please e-mail her foster at K9shuffler@cox.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nita, a Yukon Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Yukon, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
