RooRoo was the subject of a seizure case. He was legally seized from a homeless man who occupied the rear of a gas station. When found, RooRoo had a chain wrapped around his neck. Not a collar. A chain. There was a bucket of water within eyesight of RooRoo, but not close enough to drink. RooRoo is yet another victim of human error.

RooRoo has completed intense professional training. He was originally taught that people and other animals would hurt him. RooRoo has worked hard and he no longer reacts unfavorably to dogs around him. RooRoo is still leery, however, of people he does not know and trust. For this reason, RooRoo is a dog who needs a single person household. The video expresses RooRoo's concentration, athletic abilities and his love for a tennis ball.

RooRoo is a cut above any dogs when it comes to his intelligence. He learns at lightning speed and he totally loves the process. When walking through parks people stop at compliment this dog on his sleek and handsome appearance. The name RooRoo came from his ability to vocalize, especially when his flustered. RooRoo is EXTREMELY LOYAL and DEVOTED to his current handler and obeys every word. Sit. Wait. Down. Place. He strives to please! If you're not happy, he's not happy. It's going to take a special, intelligent person for RooRoo. A team. RooRoo is a dog that would take a bullet for his owner.

About New Horizon Dog Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

New Horizon Dog Rescue pulls animals from high-kill shelters, those that are scheduled for euthanization, those that otherwise had no chance. The animals are immediately veterinarian examined. The animals are further tested for heartworm, administered the necessary vaccines and are spayed/neutered when applicable.

We are volunteers who devote to the ultimate goal: placing the animals in responsible, loving homes, where they have always been meant to be.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have various satellite facilities (foster homes) throughout west central Florida. Appointments are required. We strive to be flexible to accommodate the public's schedule.

Our Adoption Process...

A preliminary phone interview. Verification from condo or apartment of breed and/or weight restrictions. Adopter must commit to provide heartworm prevention monthly. Adopted animals must be consistently provided only high quality foods.
