American Terrier/Pointer Mix, 1.5 years old, Spayed Female
Tee Tee is an energetic little girl that comes in a powerful medium-size package of 45 pounds. She came to rescue after being surrendered to a local shelter. She had been neglected and had severe demodectic mange. She's doing great now, and is ready for her new home!
Tee Tee loves to snuggle on the couch with her foster mom during movie time. She's fairly low energy once she's had a good walk, or a good play session with her furry foster brothers. Tee Tee does well with other non-aggressive dogs after proper meet and greets (and especially loves dogs that love to play rough and chase each other!). But she still has some food-aggressive tendencies with some dogs, so feeding her separately is necessary. She likes to wade into the water to cool off on a walk, but really doesn't care about retrieving or swimming much. She loves to tug on toys, and has many fluffy, squeaky, and chew toy favorites. She has shown interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home is her best option. She loves her fenced in back yard, and is a pro at using the dog-door. Tee Tee is housetrained and crate-trained. She does like to sometimes chew things that don't belong to her that have been left out on the floor or coffee table (like remote controls, books, pencils, and tissue boxes), so her new home will need a little "baby proofing" before she arrives.
Tee Tee has been waiting since February to find her very own home. Please consider adopting this sweet girl. She's waiting for you!
Tee is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and up-to-date on monthly preventatives. We estimate her DOB to be around 05/01/2015. She is in foster care in East Tennessee. Her adoption fee has been reduced is $450, which includes all vetting and transport.
