Facts about Itsy

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 216615
  • Hair: Medium
Itsy- named by a generous donor - was one of 34 cats who were dropped off here in cardboard boxes in the middle of the night. We don't know anything about his prior living situation, except for the fact that Itsy lived with lots of other cats.

Itsy can be a real charmer--he rolls over on his side purring, and kneads his bedding with joy. When Itsy purrs he vibrates from one end of the body to the other. Itsy wants attention from you and he likes being petted, but he also sometimes gets over stimulated so we don't recommend rubbing his tummy!

Itsy would love to have a kitty condo to play on, as well as an array of interesting toys--including wand toys. Because Itsy lived with other felines, he might enjoy having another high energy kitty companion.

Make sure you set him up in a private room of his own for the first few weeks with everything he needs; spend lots of time together and begin giving him supervised visits to the rest of the house after he is completely comfortable in his private space--eating well, drinking well, using the litter box and greeting you at the door when you enter his room.
