Are you ready for some Hank?  Because he is ready for you!!!  Hank is a very loyal and loving companion. He is great at keeping you company, and loves taking naps! Hank is about 7 years old, house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, is up to date on all shots and visits the vet annually. Hank loves eating veggies of all kinds for snacks, and sunbathing on the deck or patio. Hank prefers to be an 'only pet' but does like dogs smaller than him- especially beagles! He prefers being the youngest in the house by at least 10 years. Hank prefers quality when it comes to relationships instead of quantity. Hank will warm your heart with his handsome looks and contagious, ear-to-ear smile! Especially when he perks those floppy ears up! So if you think Hank might be that special doggy that you have been waiting for, then why not pay him a visit and see if it's a match.

Update from foster: Hank has been trained with commands, he knows: SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME, and GO IN HOUSE to get him into his crate.  He is very calm, not much of a licker, and loves sniffing around the yard.  He knows his name, walks well on a leash, and likes playing with his toys.

Since Hank’s estimated birthdate is 10/2/2009, his adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees].   If you want to know more about Hank and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at   Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

About Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters

About Our Rescue Group...

Furkids/SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society, Inc. is a 501c)(3), tax-exempt organization dedicated to find loving families for homeless dogs in the Atlanta area. Every year, over 90,000 animals are killed in Georgia shelters. Our volunteers rescue many dogs from local shelters and foster them in their own homes until a suitable forever home is found. We do not shy away from taking sick or difficult dogs into our program. Thanks to donations, we are able to provide excellent medical care for all of our little orphans. Our volunteers work tirelessly on training, socializing, and giving the dogs all of the loving care that they so much deserve. Thanks to our friends and supporters, we have been able to save many lives in each of years. It is caring individuals like you who can make a difference in the lives of our wonderful orphan animals.
