Chocolate is a 6 month old little pup who found herself hurt, lost and abandoned in the shelter system. It is believed that her injuries are from being hit by a car, as she has a loose patella, requiring rest and modified activities, not easy for a 6 month old. She also has a horrible skin infection, and is underweight. BUT, like all PMAR pups, that is behind her as she is now with a PA foster mom who is taking great care of her to get her back in perfect health. She is a friendly, loving and snuggly girl and, typical of her breed - forgiving. We don't know what brought her to her situation, but we know she will know nothing but kindness from this moment on. She will be further evaluated when she is fully healed, but she is hasn't shown any issue with the resident dogs in the home, although she can't play yet.
All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.
