My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ashanti is a 3 year old domestic long hair Maine Coon mix cat with a beautiful torti coat. She is absolutely stunning in person; pictures just don't do her justice! She is super sweet and loves to give as much love as she possibly can to anyone who pets her! However, she does not like to be picked up. She will give a growl and let you know that she would rather move on her own terms. She will, however, push her head into your hands when you pet her. Ashanti doesn't mind other animals, as long as they give her space.

Don't let her big fluffy coat fool you, she actually weighs only 7 pounds so she is rather small despite how fluffy her coat is. Please fill out an application, so you can come and meet this beautiful girl today!
Ashanti's adoption fee is $50.00. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines.
*****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED!*****

Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information.

All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
