And now, a few words from me:
I wasn’t going to tell you my sad tale but if it helps you understand me better, here it is.
I was initially adopted when I was just a young guy around 1-year-old. The circumstances of my homes changed and I was passed around. I made my way back to LOYAL rescue as a senior gentleman. I am such a good boy, that my foster parents don't understand how this could have happened to me. I promise to stick by your side, keep you company wherever you go, listen to all your troubles and provide love and support just like a good companion should. I love cuddles, belly and back rubs, walks and food. I also love being outside and running around in the yard-even better if you come out with me! I am a pretty simple guy you see, easy to get along with.
And now, a few words from my foster mom:
Codi is a great dog. He just loves to love. We can’t understand how anyone could ever give him up. Codi follows me all over the house and just adores running around with his foster dad out in the yard. Codi loves being around people and gets along well with our two dogs and our cat. Codi wants to be by your side always so a home where someone is not away for long periods is what we are seeking. As he loves the yard, Codi would appreciate one in his retirement home so no apartments please.
Codi has his own awesome language. He gives appreciative moans and groans when you rub his back. He lets you know when he wants to go out or come back in by barking and he gets very excited when you come home. As an elder gentleman, he has some diminished hearing and as such can be cautious around new people.
Someone must be able to give this dog a spot in front of a warm hearth? A forever spot that is!
