Nolan's Story...
Hi I’m Nolan and I’m a 4-year-old Terrier mix with super radar ears and a little stubby tail and I weigh about 20 lbs. My foster mom thinks I grew up without much human or puppy interaction so I can be a little shy at first, but when you give me a second to warm up, then I’m the most affectionate guy you’ll ever meet! I’m 100% housetrained and I could easily learn how to use a doggie-door. I LOVE belly rubs and playing with toys. So if you’re looking for a gentle soul to give you unconditional love and be your forever cuddle-buddy, then I’m your guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nolan, a San Antonio Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
