Bear's Story...
BEAR is about 2 years old and a feisty little man. He is a little nervous about meeting new people but once he warms up to you he will be your best friend. He likes the meet and greet with new humans to be on his terms and at his speed. He doesn’t like when humans rush at him. If you just ignore him and let him come to you he will. He lives with several other dogs and does well with all of them. He tries to be dominant but if an actual dominant dog puts him in his place he will submit and move on from the situation. He also lives with young children. He likes to be pet but doesn’t really like to engage with kids too much. He prefers to just coexist. He will be neutered, micro-chipped and up to date with his vaccinations prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please fill out an Adoption Screening Form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Trenton Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
