Redford is a Maltese/Yorkie mix. He was found abandoned, matted and neglected. After clipping his matted pelt he looked like a normal dog again. Redford has gone through so much and is still fearful of people but it is obvious he wants to trust. Redford needs someone who is patient and willing to show this little guy love and that he is safe. So often animals that have been neglected and abused just need that little extra time to see that life can be good, they can trust and that most of all they will be loved.
Redford has not been neutered yet but the rescue will be scheduling his appointment. The adoption fees cover the cost of his Neuter as well as current shots. Please think about opening your home to this little boy who deserves his own family. We have not seen him with children but because he is fearful already we would probably recommend children 12 or older.
