I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kelly's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Kelly's Story...
Kelly is new to the rescue. What a sweet boy he is! So far has not shown much interest in chasing a ball or toys, but does like to give kisses and play and hang out with his friend Sahara. He did want to chase a rabbit but what dog doesn't? Sadly, Kelly is heartworm positive. We have started him on the slow kill method, but can to the regular treatment after adoption if the adopter prefers.

Neutered male
Current on shots
House trained
Crate trained
HW positive, doing slow kill but can do regular if adopter prefers
Age 3-5
Good with other dogs
Good with people
Not tested with cats or children
Micro chipped

He is a bit underweight, we can see his ribs, but is eating well and will soon fill out nicely. His coat is a bit dry now but with good nutrition will soon be shiny and soft.

Kelly is accepting applications for his new home, so if you are interested please go to our website to complete our adoption application and someone will get in touch with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
