Arthur is a young guy who came from a life of neglect. After decompressing in his new home, Arthur is a sweet, loving mush most of the time with his people. He seems to be moody. In his first foster home, Arthur has had some difficulties with the other foster dogs (and there are many of them!), so when his foster mom stepped in his outbursts were then redirected towards her. He did really well in his 2nd foster home with 3 out of the 4 residents. It is unknown why he had an outburst with the 4th member.
Arthur's ideal home will have someone that stays at home or works part-time, have no children in the home on a daily basis and one or two family members.
I would like to see Arthur in a foster-to-adopt situation so we can see if he just needs to find the right people.
We are looking for an adopter in the northwest area of NJ so we can work with the foster/adopter to make sure this boy has found the right placement.
Arthur is an adorable 3-4 year old Shih Tzu mix who weighs only 8 pounds. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. He walks very nicely on a leash.
He is a special boy and we are looking for a special adopter for him.
Arthur (aka Oliver in his video) is not with Eleventh Hour Rescue. If you'd like to meet this boy, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
