I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Deke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Deke's Story...
Deke is one cool dog! He has that calm, confident demeanor that puts other dogs at ease....He commands respect from his peers. He is a gentle soul, and it's hard to say how old he is, but we are guessing between 5 and 8. He does not like to be crated, and we were told he had worn his teeth down a bit trying to escape from his kennel at the shelter. So far he has been fine here in the company of his foster brothers and sisters, but we are told he does not like to be left outside alone, as he wants to be with you. Do you blame him? You don't adopt a dog and just leave it outside by itself.

Neutered male
Heartworm negative
Current on shots
Will be micro chipped
House trained
Crate trained but wants to be with his human
Very good with people and other dogs
Not cat tested
Probably fine with children but not tested yet

Deke is searching for his forever home where he will get lots of love, treats, and tummy rubs. Could you be that home?

If you are interested in adopting Deke, please go to our website to complete our adoption application and someone will get in touch with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deke, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
