Greetings! My name is Toby. I am cute and cuddly. I love to go outside and sniff everything. I am potty trained, and semi crate trained (it is not my favorite thing to be in, but who does like them?) I get along with other animals, as long as they do not go near my food. I do not like my humans going near my food either. I have had a rough life. My foster mom is not sure what happened in my previous life, but I do know I spent a lot of time in a cage and I had to share my food, so now I am over protective of it. When I am getting loves from my foster mom, I do not like anyone or anything to interrupt as I will try to snap at them. I love going bye-bye, and I love eating treats. I had to learn steps when I first got to my foster home, and now I go down them with no problem, but going up i need a little push (or pull if I am on a leash) I like to chase after buses and trucks when they drive up or down the street (its a noise thing). I need a home without small children (teens ok) Please go to adopt a stray to apply to become my furever mommy or daddy!!

All SAAP dogs and puppies are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventatives as age appropriate.

About Stray Animal Adoption Program

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.

If you need info on a cat or kitten please contact 859-391-2944

Our Adoption Process...

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.
