Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hope. She has been in rescue for a while. Why? She's a terrier. But she is the definition and epitome of the terrier breeds. Not what the mainstream media portrays them to be, but what they truly are. She is calm, gentle, intuitive, kind souled, sweet around children, passive, and devoted. Hope knows there is a chance for those like her out there, but I watch her eyes fall each time she is looked past. I watch the hurt and confusion wash over her face. I witness her go lay on her bed and I try to get her to smile again. And she always does. She smiles again when she nuzzles her nose into the crook of my arm, or when my children approach her. She smiles and her tail wags as she forgets she was once again left behind for a cute puppy or a fluffy dog. She smiles when she remembers we love her and won't give up on finding her a family. She smiles and she waits.
Hope is available for adoption and she is a darling girl. She is 2 yrs old and great with children, other dogs, and not phased by cats. She's perfect. Can anyone see that?
Hope is good with other dogs and sweet as can be. If interested in adopting, please complete the application located at forbellessake.org.
