Miracle's Story...
Meet Miracle. She's a relaxed girl who has so perfected the cat stretch, you may think she is a yoga guru. It is incredible just how wonderful this girl is as she has been through SO much. Her rescuer let us know she was told Miracle may have been part of a family previously but was left to fend for herself. She was chased by dogs and not welcomed by other cats before being found incredibly skinny and covered in fleas. With all of that being said, Miracle still likes being near people so she can receive the attention and affection she loves so much!. She will rub her head against you and claim you as her own. She was born in March 2015 and has interesting white markings on her black fur. This gentle, peaceful girl is hoping her next family will be her forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miracle, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
