Hello! I am a Jack Russell Terrier-Beagle mixed breed. I was born in 2006 and, although that was a long time ago, I do remember growing up on a farm as a young pup. For some reason, my family then relocated to the Williamson County Animal Shelter.

First things first…I LOVE playing with my tennis ball! If I had the chance, I would watch and play with the squirrels, bunny rabbits, and chipmunks all day long…but have I mentioned that I really love my tennis ball?! Next to the ball, a good belly rub completely makes my day!

I have lived in both Tennessee and Florida—I enjoy going for car rides, and I have even been on many boat rides with my family in Georgia. I’ve stayed at the beach twice—the waves are so fun! I love giving kisses, nudging in close with friendly people, laying in the sunshine (I really love this!), and sleeping in the bed—but I’m also very comfortable sleeping in my own doggie bed in my kennel.

Bath time is okay, but it’s always best at the end when I get pampered with the towels…and of course, the yummy treats for being good afterward! I love to eat my food (and don’t like anyone else to eat it!), and I stay around 20 lbs.

I can be pretty nervous and anxious, and the older I get this seems to increase. But, I always say that the best medicine for this is lots of freedom, lots of love, and a very stress-free and relaxed atmosphere. I love really well and enjoy pleasing others…but I also love the attention, and give as much love in return as given to me!

 Love, Kali
