Luigi came to Bully Paws 5/16/16.
Lui spent a week with in a temporary foster home until his permanent foster home became available. He is a very sweet boy who is eager to please his people. Overall, Lui seems to be a medium energy dog with a playful/silly side. Sometimes Lui gets a little excitable in new situations/with new people (may jump, may mouth), but he is easy to redirect with verbal commands, verbal corrections and/or treats (soft and smelly ones or cooked chicken breast are his preferences). He is a fast learner and with continued obedience training, he will be an amazing addition to most families.
Within his temporary foster home, Lui behaved appropriately with both female and male dogs. He was slowly being introduced to the 2 cats in the home and making good progress toward remainng calm/not focused on them while in the same room.
Lui walks well on a leash, especially given use of a harness with a front clip. He is 100% housetrained, rarely barks, and settles down quickly when left alone. He has recently started to like being in his crate, as long as there is a cozy bed in it to lay on!
He really is a wonderful dog who deserves to find an awesome forever family. Could that be you?
