I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Hi I'm Cher, I am believed to be a Brindle Red Tick Hound (commonly known as a coon hound). I, and my brother, Sonny, were taken into a home but there were big dogs in the home and they didnt like me or my brother. So I then went to stay with a foster for Sandi Paws Rescue. Unfortunately before I arrived at the Foster's home we were exposed to Parvo, it's like the flu with a tummy bug, but in puppies it can be deadly. Thankfully when we stsrted feeling bad, our foster rushed us into the vet for immediate treatment and a few days later we were all better and went to the foster home.
So I am looking for my forever family. I love to run. and chase my brother. I would love to have a home where I can get belly rubs. I am a hound dog and would most likey need a fenced in yard as hound dogs have a tendency to get caught up with smells and can end up wandering away unless they are closely supervised. My foster mom has been working with me to teach ne that I am supposed to go potty outside and says I am doing really good, but it is a work in progress.
