Meet Jenna - beautiful, blonde, and big - a sweet dog that is a 6 year old, 70lb., Purebred English Yellow Lab who is now enjoying her life in a home rather than just being a dog used for breeding and having puppies. Jenna loves everyone from kids to adults and all dogs and cats. Basically housebroken and crate trained, although not a fan of crates, she would love a fenced in yard so she could roll around in the grass all day. Initially shy and scared, she has watched our dogs "doing their thing" and has finally realized that she can have fun too ! When the leashes come out, she is first in line, wagging her tail and putting her wet nose on our legs to remind us not to forget her. Jenna walks well on a leash and after a 90 minute walk is ready to come home and claim the BIG bed to relax. So if you are interested in a friendly, laid-back dog, Jenna might be the one !
Jenna is about 6 years old and about 74 pounds. She is a purebreed English Yellow Labrador Retriever and came to us as a retired breeder dog. Jenna is a new arrival and will be available for adoption once she has been spayed. Since she is new, she is shy and at this point we are recommending she only go to a home with a fenced in yard. She is reportedly good with kids, other dogs and cats. Jenna is up to date with vaccines, microchipped and heartworm and Lyme negative. Her adoption fee is $350.00. If you are interested in adopting Jenna, please visit our website www.LHARinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.
