Walter's Story...
Meet Walter! Energetic, happy, loving, affectionate. This little man is not looking to just hang around the house or run around in a back yard. He is curious about the world around him and has a lot of energy to use up while he gets out and explores it all! He is good with small dogs and very playful. His ideal home is active and eager to get out and do! Walter has asked us to help him find a calm, patient human with a kick back attitude that will spend time with him and not leave him alone for a full work week every week. He is one affectionate little guy and loves his peeps! Walter prefers an adult only home. Age 2 years 10 months. 13 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter, a Washoe Valley Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Washoe Valley, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Washoe Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washoe Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washoe Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washoe Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
