Galloway's Story...
Hi, friends! I'm Galloway and I'm a 2 year old Chihuahua and I'm a little guy at just six pounds. I've got one mission in life and it's to be the best lap dog of all time. My foster family says that I've got this down already. I'm very attentive to my people and will soak up all the attention they're willing to give. I'm not very busy but I do like hanging out with other dogs. Cats are not for me, though. I like kids just fine as long as they're old enough to be kind to me. I'm working hard on house training, rocking crate training, and am great on my leash. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope. com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Galloway, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
